The Mubariz IST-12.7 is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in 12.7x108mm, derived from the 14.5mm Istiglal IST-14.5 anti-materiel sniper rifle. Developed to meet the requirements of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, it was officially introduced into service in late 2010. Weighing 16kg, the IST-12.7 is significantly lighter than its counterpart, the 28kg IST-14.5. The rifle features an adjustable bipod and monopod, offering enhanced stability.
