The SV-99 is a specialized sniper weapon designed for close-range engagements, particularly within urban environments, with an effective range of up to 100 meters. It is based on the .22 Long Rifle rimfire (5.6x15mmR) Bi-7 Biathlon rifle. Featuring a fast toggle-locking, straight-pull bolt-action system, the SV-99 facilitates rapid reloads. The rifle is equipped with an ambidextrous stock, bipod, and a detachable buttstock with adjustable length, buttplate position, and cheek rest height. Additionally, it supports
the attachment of a sound suppressor, and its disassembled parts can be conveniently carried in a backpack.
