The CAR 817DMR is a designated marksman rifle featuring semi-automatic operation, a gas-operated system, and a rotating bolt mechanism, all designed for military and law enforcement applications. It comes with barrel options of 16 inches or 18 inches and is compatible with both ten- and 20-round magazines. The upper receiver of the rifle boasts a full-length MIL-STD-1913 rail, complemented by shorter rails at the three, six, and nine o'clock positions for additional accessory attachment points.
