The WOM3 is weapons orientation module (WOM) with real-time movement tracking. The WOM3 weapons orientation module uses three-axis gyroscopes, accelerometers, and magnetometers to provide real-time tracking of both fast and slow movement. It has been designed to work with a variety of weapons platforms, from small arms to towed artillery, with specific functions to suit each particular system. The unit calibrates against soft- and hard-iron interference, and can adjust its algorithms to ensure accurate output even
under long-term magnetic disturbances. WOM3 is IP67-rated and has been tested to MIL-STD-810F, MIL-STD-461D and DO-160D standards.
