The EMCORE TACNAV Moving Map Display (MMD) is a ruggedized touchscreen navigation display providing real-time moving map visualization for TACNAV tactical navigation systems installed on military vehicles. Compliant with MIL-STD-810G, the glove-compatible touchscreen is readable in all lighting conditions and displays position, heading, speed, waypoint bearing and distance, and cross-track error on satellite or topographic maps in multiple languages. Multi-level zoom, annotation capabilities, and support for both
degree and mil angular formats with multiple grid reference systems allow operators to configure the display for mission-specific requirements. The TACNAV MMD is designed for cavalry, reconnaissance, and command vehicles requiring intuitive graphical navigation in the field.
