The EMCORE TACNAV Light/GPS is a navigation system designed for light military vehicles, combining embedded GPS with TACNAV inertial and compass guidance to provide 100 percent situational awareness including in GPS-degraded conditions. Compliant with MIL-STD-810G, it includes both a Moving Map Display with touchscreen interface and a Universal Multilingual Display for real-time heading, position, speed, and waypoint navigation. Operators can create and store waypoints, plan routes, and monitor vehicle travel in

real time through the intuitive MMD touchscreen. The TACNAV Light/GPS is appropriate for wheeled tactical vehicles, scout platforms, and command vehicles where compact, reliable navigation with graphical and digital display capability is required without the weight and complexity of heavier vehicle navigation systems.
