The Brigantine SGP is a LAN-to-LAN surveillance sensor data exchange unit designed to bridge dissimilar ATM and surveillance networks. Sunhillo describes the Brigantine Surveillance Gateway Processor as a high-speed communications platform that performs IP-based formatting, content filtering, and protocol conversion for seamless exchange of surveillance sensor data between unlike systems. The unit provides twelve 1Gb Ethernet ports and two SFP+ ports supporting up to 10Gb Ethernet over copper or fiber, and it can
be expanded with a COM Express SBC module for functions such as M.2 SATA SSD storage and additional Ethernet connectivity. Its security architecture is based on the Common Criteria (ISO/IEC 15408) Network Device Protection Profile (NDPP), and the platform also includes an integrated encryption processor for sensitive mission-critical applications.
