Border Watch is a radar and EO/IR-based threat detection and counter-UAS system for persistent border and perimeter surveillance. Cannon Defence & Security presents Border Watch as a networkable set of Automated Sensor Points (ASPs) that combine long-range radar detection with high-definition day and night imaging, allowing remote operators to detect, mark, and track threats in real time. In the source configuration, radar detection reaches distances of up to 10km, while the ASPs can be powered by solar panels as
well as other energy sources and are armored against small arms fire and nearby fragmentation effects. Cannon also describes counter-UAS functionality that disrupts the communications link between drone and pilot, aligning with the source positioning of Border Watch as both a situational awareness and anti-drone solution.
