Intrusion protection for fiber optic cabinets and critical infrastructure. Micropol's Intrusion Alarm is designed to secure fiber optic cabinets, joint closures and critical infrastructure against physical intrusion. The system consists of one or a number of sensors, which can be installed inside a wide variety of closed cabinets and can utilize the existing fiber network, and a control unit, which is typically installed in a server room or fiber optic node. Up to 40 sensors can be installed per alarm circuit,
with up to 100km of distance between sensors. When a sensor is activated, the control unit triggers an alarm, and can deliver push notifications via a number of methods.
