Unidirectional and bidirectional solid state relays. RIPEnergy's Gateway solid-state relays are built on advanced patented MOSFET technology and can be programmed to act as precision circuit breakers or voltage-sensitive disconnects. With no mechanical contacts or moving parts, they exhibit no arcing and provide much greater longevity in the field.Two versions are available - unidirectional (switching a source to a load) or bidirectional (either switching a source to a load, or switch current between two sources).
Both versions are available with 12 or 24VDC operating voltages.The system's integrated microcontroller provides a wide variety of useful functionality, including differentiation between in-rush and shorted conditions, timers, status and troubleshooting information, and a range of protection capabilities.
