The icListen AF is a revolutionary smart digital hydrophone that enables real-time processing, streaming, and recording of acoustic data without the need for additional pre-amps, filters, converters, or datalinks. The compact self-contained unit is fully calibrated and offers the ideal combination of performance and sensitivity, providing critical situational awareness for enhanced decision-making
during naval and underwater operations. Settings can be easily adjusted via a web browser interface. The hydrophone is small and lightweight enough to carry in one hand, and includes ultra-low noise and a wide dynamic range for high-quality data and long-term stability, as well as 1 TB of internal storage. Multiple units can be synchronized to create a simplified and convenient multi-channel array. The proven solution has been integrated with multiple globally-recognized ASV and UUV platforms, and is well suited to a wide range of defense and security applications, including: Identification and analysis of potential threats such as enemy vessels, submersible vehicles, and divers Creation of acoustic ranges for evaluating the signatures of navy vessels and submarines and while maintaining minimal noise emissions Locating pingers during search and rescue operations or retrieval of assets such as ROVs & AUVs Identifying the presence of marine wildlife during defense exercises.
