The GSM 5000 is a high-accuracy stabilization for large-format cameras and scanners. The GSM 5000 is SOMAG’s flagship airborne gyro mount, delivering ultra-accurate stabilization for payloads of up to 120 kg. Providing an expanded motion range and usable diameter compared to its predecessor, it also offers flexible Ethernet and RS-232 interfaces that handle mount control, mount communications and AUX port functionality through a single interface. With Ethernet, multiple mounts can be networked together and

controlled from a single computer. The GSM 5000 includes a 355° rotational range in the drift axis, while maintaining comprehensive data collection during aerial missions, In addition to standard drift stabilization, it also provides step and stare, scan and pointing modes.
