The Cottonmouth ARV is an advanced reconnaissance vehicle with amphibious capabilities. The Cottonmouth® platform has been purpose-built for the United States Marine Corps Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle (ARV) program, providing a suite of full-spectrum reconnaissance and surveillance sensors and electronic warfare capabilities for defeating threats beyond the line of sight. The self-deployable amphibious platform can travel through the surf zone and withstand greater than 4-foot waves, carrying up to five Marines
in addition to its crew of two. The vehicle has been designed with an open architecture to allow integration of emerging technologies and ensure future-proofing.
