The FT602-SM is a compact surface mount anemometer for mission-critical wind speed & direction data. The FT602-SM is a compact and lightweight ultrasonic wind sensor that measures wind speeds of up to 75m/s and 360° direction data, as well as temperature, pressure, tilt and acceleration. Thanks to FT Technologies' revolutionary Acu-Res® technology, it provides an excellent signal-to-noise ratio and high levels of data availability even under challenging conditions such as heavy rain or vibration. Constructed from
an industrial-grade UV-stabilised polycarbonate blend, the robust sensor is sealed to IP67 standards and can withstand shocks of up to 50g. Thanks to its low profile, it is physically strong, and the lack of moving parts lowers maintenance requirements. The versatile unit helps teams be surface-mounted, with an adapter for easy pipe-mounting. It can be powered by 5V USB, and provides serial, UART and CANBUS interfaces for seamless integration into a wide range of military systems and equipment.
