The M&P; (Military and Police) series is designed for military and law enforcement users. Introduced in 2005, the M&P; has improved trigger and ergonomics that allow the customer to customise the pistol. The M&P45;, like other models, features a Zytel polymer frame, stainless-steel barrel/slide and structural components. It is equipped with a MIL-STD-1913 rail. Other M&P; models are available in .357 SIG, .40 S&W; and .45 ACP
calibres.
