The 30 M781 arms the French Army’s Gerfaut combat support version of the Airbus Helicopters Tiger. It is mounted in a powered turret slaved to a helmet sight, HUD or roof-mounted sight. The system has considerable recoil, meaning that it is typically used for single shots or controlled bursts rather than continuous fire. It is currently used on the Eurocopter Tiger and is also offered for naval use as part of the NARWHAL

system.
