Description
Roketsan developed the imaging IR-guided Mızrak-U, also known as the UMTAS (Uzun Menzilli Tanksavar Sistemi, or Long-Range Anti-Tank System), and the laser-guided L-Mızrak-U (L-UMTAS) for the Turkish Army’s T129 ATAK helicopter. Initiated in 2005 and completed in 2015, the UMTAS is designed specifically to engage heavily armoured vehicles and can be integrated onto various platforms such as helicopters, UAVs, light aircraft and ships.
