The VH-92A is a special transport helicopter developed by Sikorsky based on the S-92 to meet the USMC requirement to replace the VH-3D and VH-60N presidential helicopter fleet. The VH-92A programme began in 2014 when Sikorsky won a $1.24 billion engineering and manufacturing development contract from the USN.
