Saeqeh-80 is a trainer/light attack aircraft developed by Aerospace Industries Organization of Iran. It bears similarities to the F-5E. The aircraft was unveiled to the public via Iranian state television in a test flight in July 2004. The Saeqeh-80 entered service in September 2006, according to the Islamic Republic of Iran News Network (IRINN). It is also known as Azarakhsh-2. It is powered by two Iranian variants of J-85 turbojet
engines.
