Built by the Franco-Italian ATR consortium, a JV between Airbus and Leonardo, 20 ATR 72 MP MPAs are fitted with mission equipment by Alenia Aermacchi (now Leonardo). Four have been ordered for the Italian Navy and 16 for the Turkish Navy, with some already operational. The four Italian aircraft are fitted with Leonardo Seaspray 7300E radars and EOST-23
