Category
Aviation
The MiG-29M (single-seat)/M2 (two-seat) is the latest variant of the MiG-29 fighter family. It is also known as MiG-35 (NATO reporting name Fulcrum-E). The initial MiG-29M prototype performed flight tests in April 1986, before another six test aircraft were built. Serial production began in 2015, after Egypt placed an order for 50 MiG-29Ms including the M2 variant, and still continues. The MiG-29M2 is powered by two RD-33MK engines, each producing 9,000kg of
thrust.
