The Reva III 4x4 mine-protected vehicle was originally developed in 2004 by Integrated Convoy Protection to meet the demands of a private security company operating in Iraq for a vehicle that could provide protection against IEDs while retaining sufficient mobility to operate in both urban areas and across rough terrain. Part of a wider range of Reva 4x4 military and security vehicles, it is designed to be cost-effective and simple to maintain. Equipped with a V-shaped hull, it can protect its occupants against
small-arms fire and mine blasts. More than 1,000 Reva IIIs have been sold to militaries, police forces and international organisations across the world.
