The Sinai-200 (also known as Sena-200) is a family of tracked vehicles developed by the Egyptian MoD’s Ministry of Military Production (MOMP). Although derived from the Soviet BMP-1, the Sinai-200 offers a higher level of ballistic and blast protection, more ergonomic crew positions and a RWS in place of the manned 73mm-gun armed turret. In addition to the APC variant, it is intended to spawn a whole family of vehicles ranging from combat support vehicles armed with a 30mm cannon to a mortar carrier and EW
vehicle.
