The BMP-3F is a variant of KMZ’s BMP-3 amphibious tracked IFV that has improved seaworthiness and buoyancy to enable amphibious operations in waters up to Sea State 3 for periods of up to seven hours. To improve the BMP-3F’s buoyancy, the BMP-3’s self-entrenching equipment has been removed, a lightweight frontal, turret trim vane and a telescopic air intake tube have been fitted. The turret is also protected by trim
