The Armadillo APC, unveiled at Eurosatory 2010, is based on BAE Systems’ CV90 IFV design. It has been modified to provide a higher degree of flexibility to meet new threats and adapt to changing operational environments. Additionally, removing the CV90’s turret creates an APC with a payload capacity of 16t. The modular design allows up to 80% commonality between variants and facilitates a low-cost change to new
roles.
