FNSS publicly launched the Pars III 8x8 alongside the Pars III 6x6 at IDEF 2017, presenting the latest generation of the Pars family — named for the Anatolian Leopard — which the company has been developing since 2002. The 8x8 variant is designed to serve as an infantry fighting vehicle and is compatible with a range of turret systems including 25mm and 30mm cannon configurations. The Pars III family targets both Turkish Army requirements and the export market, with FNSS offering a high degree of customisation in
armament, protection level, and mission systems to match diverse customer specifications.
