The Wahash (Falcon) is an amphibious 8x8 infantry fighting vehicle developed to meet UAE requirements for a well-protected platform capable of sustained operations in hot desert and coastal environments. Originally designed by ADG Mobility in South Africa in conjunction with UAE-based Calidus, the prototype was first shown at IDEX 2019. The amphibious capability distinguishes the Wahash from most regional competitors, allowing it to cross water obstacles without preparation, while its desert-optimised thermal
management and filtration systems address the specific climatic challenges of Gulf region operations.
