The Griffon Véhicule Blindé Multi-Rôles is a 6x6 multirole armoured vehicle manufactured by a consortium of Nexter Systems, Arquus, and Thales under France's Scorpion armoured vehicle modernisation programme. It is designed to replace the VAB APC across the French Army and serves as the primary protected mobility platform within the Scorpion connected battlespace architecture. The Griffon integrates the Scorpion information system, enabling real-time sharing of situational awareness data between vehicles, and can
be configured for APC, command, medical evacuation, and artillery observation roles within a common platform family.
