The Ara 2 is an evolution of Nigeria-based Proforce’s Ara 4x4 mine-protected armoured vehicle. Unlike its predecessor, the Ara 2 features a purpose-built V-shaped monocoque hull offering underbelly blast protection equivalent to NATO STANAG 4569 Level 4a and 4b standards. Capable of carrying up to 12 personnel in its standard APC variant, the platform can also be configured for other roles. It can be armed with a heavy machine gun mounted in a protected weapon
station.
