The CSK181 ‘Mengshi’ is a 4x4 armoured vehicle developed to provide protected mobility and fire support to the Chinese PLA’s light combined arms brigades. Departing from the earlier CSK131 and CSK141 designs, it features a new chassis and armoured body to offer greater protection, enhanced cross-country performance and more growth potential. The platform can be adapted for different roles and shares many of its features with the CSK182 and the CSZ-181, CTL-181 and CTL-181A family of 6x6 armoured
vehicles.
