The First Win II is a 4x4 mine-protected vehicle developed and modified from the First Win I in response to a specific Royal Thai Army requirement, and is currently in RTA service. The improved design addresses lessons identified from First Win I operations, with enhanced blast protection and revised crew protection geometry. The First Win II represents Thailand's effort to field a domestically relevant mine-protected vehicle tailored to the threat environments encountered in the country's southern border security
operations.
