A prototype of the Vuran 4x4 multipurpose armoured vehicle was first exhibited in 2009, but the design continued to evolve until 2018 when the production version was unveiled at the Eurosatory exhibition. Originally developed as a private venture to fulfil a range of roles, including APC and weapons carrier, the Vuran features a V-shaped mine-protected hull with sufficient room to accommodate nine personnel and their equipment. Additionally, it can be fitted with a remote weapons station, EO/IR sensors and
communications systems to meet different mission requirements.
