The Żubr (Wisent) is a 4x4 APC based upon the licence-pro-duced Iveco Eurocargo commercial truck chassis. It is available in several variants other than the conventional mine-protected APC version, including the Żubr MMSR (a carrier for an N-26 air surveillance radar), the Żubr P (a platform for the Poprad air defence system) and the Żubr WD (a command post). Since the public debut of the first prototype in 2008, the Żubr has been procured in limited numbers by the Polish Armed Forces and has also been offered for
export, although no foreign orders have been announced.
