UVZ developed the BMPT Fire Support Combat Vehicle, nicknamed Terminator by the company, after studying the Russian Army’s performance during the Chechen War. Designed to support tank operations in urban environments, the BMPT is armed with two 30mm cannons, two 30mm automatic grenade launchers, four ATGM launchers and one 7.62mm machine gun. It enables the vehicle to engage a wide spectrum of targets, including infantry fighting vehicles, fortified defensive positions and low-flying, low-speed targets such as
helicopters.
