Otokar unveiled the Tulpar Light Tank at Eurosatory 2018, combining CMI's Cockerill 3105 turret with Otokar's proven Tulpar IFV hull to create a tracked fire support vehicle developed in cooperation with CMI for the export market. The 105mm Cockerill 3105 turret provides a direct fire capability against light armour and fortified positions at ranges beyond the reach of IFV-calibre weapons. The Tulpar Light Tank targets armies seeking an affordable tracked fire support platform that can be operated and maintained
alongside existing Tulpar IFV fleets, sharing common automotive components and reducing the logistical burden of operating a mixed armoured vehicle inventory.
