The SeaExplorer long-endurance UUV is designed for a range of oceano-graphic and defence missions. The glider is a multi-mission vehicle that gathers subsea data, sending it back using satellite telemetry. It has set a world record for duration and distance, completing a 60-day mission covering 1,183km in a single battery
charge.
