Description
The B7X is a dual-use unmanned surface vehicle unveiled in January 2018, designed to conduct both manned and unmanned operations from the same hull. Propulsion is provided by HamiltonJet HJ213 water jets driven by a Yanmar Marine 6LPA-STP2 engine, giving the vessel the speed and manoeuvrability needed for patrol and intercept missions. The dual-use architecture allows operators to crew the B7X for training or complex missions while retaining the capability to operate it remotely in high-threat environments,
providing operational flexibility without requiring a separate manned and unmanned vessel fleet.
