Description
Nationwide Bundeswehr open day with demos and displays. Anyone who enjoys air shows, wants to experience modern military technology up close, or would like a glimpse behind the scenes of the German Armed Forces should mark June 6, 2026, on their calendar. On this day, the German Armed Forces Day will take place at the Naval Air Station of the German Navy. The Nordholz Naval Air Base will open its gates to visitors from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with admission starting at 9:00 a.m. A diverse program for the whole family will be offered. The highlight of the day will be the air show. However, it's not just the Naval Air Arm who will be present. The Army and Air Force will also be represented, showcasing tanks and other large equipment. A varied course will be set up around the shipyard and base grounds, bringing the diversity of the German Armed Forces to life. Throughout the event area, a "blue light mile," NBC defense units, and depictions of life in the field will provide vivid insights into everyday military life. The German Armed Forces Day is intended as an exciting event for all citizens.
