Description
The first International Defence Exhibition and Conference, where you will have the opportunity to learn about the next generation of defence technologies. The event will provide a comprehensive outline of key innovations and solutions that open up new dimensions and progress for the defence industry. SIDEC reflects the impact of geopolitical changes and current security challenges that the Republic of Slovenia has addressed. The tactics and operations of warfare, as well as approaches to global security, have evolved significantly. Modern soldier equipment is becoming increasingly technologically advanced, necessitating a new approach and significantly greater investment in research and development. With this event, the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia and the Slovenian defence industry, organized within the Slovenian Defence Industry Cluster, are responding to this new reality. Recently, Slovenian scientific and research institutions have also successfully joined this developmental dynamic. Our focus will center around four main areas: Cyber security; Future technologies (R&D); Energy efficiency & resilience; Artificial intelligence
