Danish Air Show 2026

WHERE AND WHEN? Danish Air Show 2026 will take place on Sunday, September 13th from 8 am to 4 pm at Aalborg Air Station (at 9430 Vadum). If you are coming from Aalborg/Nørresundby, we recommend that you use the entrance at Aalborg Airport (the civil one) at Ny Lufthavnsvej 100, 9400 Aalborg. The other three entrances are located along Thisted Landevej. The air program lasts from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, while gates and exhibitions open as early as 8:00 AM. We therefore recommend that you arrive well in advance. WHAT DOES IT COST? It is free to participate in the Danish Air Show 2026. TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING Although there is free parking, we strongly recommend leaving your car at home because the roads around the Air Station are extremely congested. If you do come by car, be prepared to queue, arm yourself with patience and maybe have a good morning coffee in the cup holder. It is easier to get to Aalborg Airport (the civil airport) by train, bus, bicycle or on foot, from where there will be free shuttle buses to the airport, which run regularly. BRINGING FOOD You are welcome to bring food and drinks from home – but not alcohol. So pack a big lunch so there is enough for the whole family and an eventful day. It is also possible to buy food and drinks at the square. The food stalls were transported all the way from the forest in Skanderborg by Smuk Event, which is what you usually find at Smukfest.
